    Foreign Food Empty Foreign Food

It's surprising how people dismiss foreign culture. So many people reject other countries because of their different culture but are actually missing out. Like that (australian) ad on TV for sweet-potato chips and that old fart saying "i dont know... -nom- these are good!" and his daughter's all like "They're all good, dad!" Ugh Rolling Eyes But yeah, you get my point.
If you go to an Asian food mart you'll most likely find some pretty cool things. The foods they have are amazing, but you know- everyone is so resistant to change that they wont try melon flavored bread, or a sports drink labelled "Pocari Sweat"...
I've recently introduced my parents to japanese mayonnaise (its creamier... hard to explain) and okonomiya sauce, and they fell in love instantly. They can't get enough of it- they put it in their salads and on their steaks, they forget how fattening it is, haha.

What is your favourite foreign food? Doesn't have to be Asian, can be anything... I personally love original turkish delight (the ones without the chocolate).

I like spicy foods of all persuasions. But I don't favor red bean or mango despite being Asian. After Sichuan food, my favorites are Italian and Indian. I also like Brazilian and Korean barbeque. Not a fan of fancy French restaurants where garnish exceeds edible morsels.

Personally I think the term "foreign food" is incredibly vague and a little naive to begin with. Almost all food can be considered foreign, more or less. People just don't bother doing the research.
Similarly, most commercial curries are actually Brittish.

I know all food is foreign, but by that i meant either exotic foods or uncommon foods to english speaking countries. It's longer to word it that way though.
