Personally I think sequels are redundant.
Sure, coming up with new concepts is difficult, and sequels fills a need in the marketplace, but if they REALLY can't come up with any new ideas, would it really be too much to ask come up with something similar?

It's a good point but sometimes thinking up an entirely new game that isn't so similar to the old one that people just think the creaters are lazy is hard.
